Currently in his freshman year studying International Relations (Global Business) at the University of Southern California, Andrew is excited to explore opportunities in writing, policy analysis, and foreign affairs. Born in New York, Andrew’s origins are rooted in America; however, he spent his childhood in Beijing, China, and grew up through his teenage years in Vancouver, Canada, imparting to him a wealth of different life experiences and an appreciation for global affairs and cultural diversity. Most importantly, Andrew’s experiences in high school with competitive debate and Model UN have instilled in him a passion for the intricacies of global politics and diplomacy. Beyond academics, Andrew enjoys reading about nineteenth-century European history, watching the latest Marvel content, and—during the wintertime—descending snowy mountain peaks on his snowboard.
