Giancarlo Ceja
Giancarlo Ceja is a Latinx, first generation college student with an academic focus in environmental health, sustainability, and international development. Being from a disadvantaged immigrant community, Giancarlo has focused my research and field work on how aspects of environmental climate change are disproportionately affecting low income communities. He’s had the opportunity to perform research on neighborhoods in Riverside County, East Los Angeles, and recently traveled to Seoul, expanding air purification technology to countries developing their public health infrastructure. He hopes to work within international organizations such as the UNEP, UNIDO, or UNHCR to continue tackling environmental problems on a global scale.
